Enough is enough. The so-called "War On Drugs" has been an absolute failure, except in promoting a police state (which is what many believe it is really about. Much of the Drug War has focused on marijuana, aka hemp, a plant that was grown and praised by our founding fathers.
The War on Drugs is a war against the people, a war with our Constitutional rights and freedom. It is time for people to take a stand. In fact, slowly they have, as voters have passed time and again laws to decriminalize the usage of marijuana as medicine. That there would be any debate on this issue proves how fraudulent the debate has been framed. Slowly but surely, however, people of diverse backgrounds are waking up to what is at stake.
We at The Konformist promise to be part of the movement to stop this immoral and destructive war.
